Coach Training

The AYSO Coaching curriculum is accredited with NCACE, the National Committee on Accreditation of Coaching Education.  Ayso was the second youth sport to be accredited by this Organization, the first youth sport to be accredited twice, and the only youth sport to be accredited a third time.  This accreditation is important as it shows our commitment to our Vision Statement:  To provide world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives.

All AYSO Coaches are trained and Certified to be Coaches, and have completed the following MANDATORY requirements:
-Volunteer Application
-Level 2 Background Check
-AYSO's Safe Haven
-CDC Concussion Awareness Training
-Sudden Cardiac Arrest
-U.S. SafeSport (renewed yearly)

as well as the appropriate age/division level coach training certification.

Playground / Schoolyard - To be completed Online in your AYSO U account

6U - To be completed Online in your AYSO U account

8U -  In-Person, attend one of the two in-person dates. Register for the course in your AYSO U account.
Dates:  August 2nd  or  August 30th.  Location: Kuebler Park
      - or complete online in your AYSO U account

10U - Must be completed during the In-Person.  Attend one of the two in-person dates. Register for the course in your AYSO U account.
Dates:  August 2nd  or  August 30th.  Location:  Kuebler Park

12U - Must be completed during the In-Person.  Attend one of the two in-person dates. Register for the course in your AYSO U account
Dates:  August 9th  or  August 23rd.  Location:  Kuebler Park
*Online Pre-Course requirement must be completed before attending the Mandatory In-Person.

14U Intermediate Coach - Must be completed during the In-Person at Kuebler Park.
Date: August 16th. Location: Kubler Park

16U/19U Advance Coach - Must be completed during the In-Person.
Date: August 30th. Location: Flagstone Room in the Armory
