Coach Training
The AYSO Coaching curriculum is accredited with NCACE, the National Committee on Accreditation of Coaching Education. Ayso was the second youth sport to be accredited by this Organization, the first youth sport to be accredited twice, and the only youth sport to be accredited a third time. This accreditation is important as it shows our commitment to our Vision Statement: To provide world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives.
All AYSO Coaches are trained and Certified to be Coaches, and have completed the following MANDATORY requirements:
Volunteer Application
Level 2 Background Check
AYSOs Safe Haven
CDC Concussion Awareness Training
Sudden Cardiac Arrest
U.S. SafeSport
as well as the appropriate age/division level coach training certification.
2023 Coach Training and dates

6U - online, In-person August 13th, 9am - 11:30am at Kuebler Park
8U - August 20th, 9am - 12pm at Kuebler Park
10U - August 19th, 9am - 1pm at Kuebler Park
12U - August 12th, 9am - 3pm at Kuebler Park (lunch is provided)
*Mandatory online pre-course must be completed before attending the in-person course
Intermediate Coach 14U - July 22nd & 23rd, This is a 2 day Course. 9am - 3pm both days at Kuebler Park (lunch is provided)
*Mandatory online pre-course and prerequisites must be completed before attending the in-person course.
Intermediate Coach 14U - August 27th, 8am - 5pm at Parks and Rec 824 E Gurley St, Prescott, AZ 86301(lunch Provided)
*Mandatory online pre-course and prerequisites must be completed before attending the in-person course.
Advance Coach 16U/19U - July 29th & 30th. This is a 2 day Course. 9am - 3pm both days at Kuebler Park (lunch is provided)
