Coach Training

The AYSO Coaching curriculum is accredited with NCACE, the National Committee on Accreditation of Coaching Education.  Ayso was the second youth sport to be accredited by this Organization, the first youth sport to be accredited twice, and the only youth sport to be accredited a third time.  This accreditation is important as it shows our commitment to our Vision Statement:  To provide world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives.

All AYSO Coaches are trained and Certified to be Coaches, and have completed the following MANDATORY requirements:
-Volunteer Application
-Level 2 Background Check
-AYSO's Safe Haven
-CDC Concussion Awareness Training
-Sudden Cardiac Arrest
-U.S. SafeSport (renewed yearly)

as well as the appropriate age/division level coach training certification.

2025 Coach Training and Dates
Log into your account, and go to AYSOU to Register for upcoming Training and Certification classes
6U -  Online only in your AYSOU account

8U -  Online anytime prior to the start of the Season. or,
In-Person: Dates to be posted later

10U -  Online anytime prior to the start of the Season.  You must still complete In-Person Field Session to be Certified, or,
In-Person: Dates to be posted later.

12U -  In-Person ONLY, Dates to be posted later.
*Mandatory online pre-course must be completed before attending the in-person course

Intermediate Coach 14U -  Dates to be posted later.
        *Mandatory online pre-course and prerequisites must be completed before attending the in-person course.

Advance Coach 16U/19U -  Dates to be posted as needed, or interest.
*Mandatory online pre-course and prerequisites must be completed before attending the in-person course
