When?
The primary season practices begins in late August. First games are normally in early September. See the important dates tab for specific dates.
Ages
The Primary Season is open to anyone aged 4-18.
Games
There are normally 10 primary season games all played on Saturday. All game schedules are posted on this website
Location
All Primary season games are played at Pioneer Park.

Schoolyard and Playground: Field 1
6U: Fields 3a and 3b
8U: Fields 7a, 7b, and 7c
10U: Fields 1, 2a, and 2b
12U: Fields 5 and 6
14U: Field 4
16/19U: Field 4
Practices
Practices are located at Pioneer Park and Heritage Field. For directions, see above or go to Field Maps. Practice times and days are chosen by the coach of the team. See table below called Primary Season rules for practice guidelines per age division.
Cost
Player registration fees are $70 if you register before June 1st, $80 after June 1st. $90 after July 1st. Final day to register is August 1st. There is a discount of $10 for siblings. Prescott AYSO does provide scholarships to those with financial need. For player scholarships fill out the playership form. Please send the form to [email protected].
Equipment
Players are provided a jersey, shorts and socks. Uniforms are given to coaches and handed out at the first practices, 5U and 6U uniforms are handed out at the first games. Players are required to have shin guards and Tennis shoes (soccer cleats preferred).
NO Baseball cleats (or shoes with Toe cleats)

The primary season is geared to players of all skill levels and athletic ability
Registering a Player
There is only one way to register a player for the primary season: go to www.prescottsoccer.net to register.
Click on "Register Now" tab at the top right of the page. Click on the link that best fits you and follow the instructions on the next page. You can pay by credit card on the website. AYSO will accept most major credit cards.

6U-12U Heading is not allowed in practice or games. An indirect free kick will be awarded to the opposing team if a player heads the ball.
14U heading is limited to 30 minutes per week in practice with no more than 15-20 headers per player. No heading restrictions in games.
Parents
AYSO practices and games are geared toward player development and meant to be safe and fun for all participants. Parents are expected to follow AYSO guidelines and cheer for their children at games. Parents are expected to allow the coach to guide the team during the game and allow the Referee to enforce the Laws of the Game at their discretion. Please read Safe Haven for parents and kids zone.
